Application Process

The application process at TKS is designed to be straightforward and accessible. We understand the importance of finding the right fit for your family, and we are here to guide you through each step. By applying to The Kessler School, you are making an investment in your child’s future—one that will unlock UNLIMITED opportunities for personal and academic growth. From the initial inquiry to final enrollment, we are committed to providing a smooth and welcoming experience.

We accept applications year-round; however, applications submitted after the February 5th deadline will be considered on a space-available basis. Submit the online application, upload a picture of your child (optional), and submit the $125.00 application fee and all supporting documentation.

NOTE: When submitting the online application, fees may only be paid with Mastercard, Visa, or Discover.

You will be contacted by our office for a student interview and classroom visit for 1st - 8th grades. Testing is required for grades 1-8, allowing us to determine whether The Kessler School best fits your child's needs.

Please be prepared to provide an immunization record for your student(s) upon enrollment (PreK - 8th grades). Students who are not in compliance with required vaccinations will not be accepted to The Kessler School.

For students entering grades 1-8, the office of admissions requires a copy of the student's transcript, which includes the first semester of the current school year and the two previous grade levels (along with standardized scores), and teacher recommendations.

Financial Aid/Scholarship Applicants: Must submit applications to FACTS in order to be considered for an award. Financial Aid applications submitted after March will be considered on a funds-available basis.

Upon notice of acceptance, financial paperwork and enrollment contract signed by parent(s)/guardian(s) must be submitted (along with applicable Enrollment & Supply fees) via the online enrollment process in order to secure the student's place in the class.

We understand that affordability is an important consideration for many families, and The Kessler School is proud to offer tuition assistance to help ensure that our UNLIMITED educational experience is accessible to a diverse community. We believe that every child deserves the chance to reach their full potential, and our tuition assistance program is designed to provide support where it’s needed most. By investing in your child’s education at TKS, you are giving them a foundation of excellence that will benefit them for years to come.

Policies and guidelines for awarding scholarships include the following:

FACTS Grant and Aid applications are available online beginning in November of each year.
Applications must be submitted to FACTS no later than February 15th.
Because scholarships are based in part on financial circumstances, applicants shall provide personal and financial/tax information to FACTS Grant and Aid.
Upon confirmation by FACTS Grant and Aid, the Scholarship Committee will evaluate the applicant family's commitment to TKS, including volunteer hours and participation in the school's fundraising activities.
Scholarship awards are based on the financial needs of families and on the need of The Kessler School relative to grade placement and balancing class sizes, with scholarship awards reserved primarily for grade levels Kindergarten through Seventh Grade.
The number and amount of scholarships awarded may be limited by the availability of funds, by considerations relating to enrollment and class size, or based on other needs of TKS as determined by the Head of School, Scholarship Committee or the Board of Directors.
