Building Our Future
The Kessler School creates a community of diverse learners that values individuality, cultivates a passion for learning, instills respect for others, and promotes leadership and community service.
For 23 years, TKS has served children all over North Oak Cliff and the Dallas Metroplex, equipping young minds with skills and values that develop self-sufficient, high-achieving learners and aspiring leaders.
The Kessler School’s vision for a new campus is to make the educational experience we provide more holistic for our students, to expand grade levels through 12th grade, and to become the “Southern Star” of Dallas private schools.
In the years to come, The Kessler School will become the premier educational resource our community needs, from onesies to college acceptance letters.
Tenets of the Building Our Future Campaign
The new TKS Campus will create a calm, intentional environment through four tenets:
- Intellectual: A well-rounded curriculum focuses on a child-centered philosophy tailored to the needs of each child using a variety of teaching styles and techniques supported by a growing emphasis on the fine arts and STEM.
- Social: The unique sense of community in the diverse Oak Cliff community provides a loving, nurturing environment to develop strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Spiritual: TKS fosters spiritual awareness and growth coupled with a strong sense of ethics, regardless of nationality, race, origin, or beliefs.
- Physical: TKS is dedicated to providing a well-rounded curriculum that includes daily physical education activities to allow our students to excel athletically as well.
Building Blocks of Our Future
With a warm community entrance, two separate secure drop-off spaces, and greenery surrounding the building, TKS will have the space to embody the core values of our mission.
We have been thoughtful in choosing a space and plans that align with who we are and what we want for our students in the years to come. With investment from our TKS Family, we will be able to renovate this historic space to become the perfect place for us to lay our roots for the future.

Intentional Space
Creativity and consideration goes in to every decision made about our spaces. From a warm and inviting entryway, to a smart flow for traffic, to classrooms designed by educators, our new campus will reflect who we are.

Library
Reading is essential to a TKS education. We endeavor to build a love of reading in all of our students, knowing it is essential to future success. Our library is a focal point of our new campus.

Court & Field
An anticipated element of our new campus is the ability to build out our programmatic offerings. By building a sports court and athletic field, we open the door to more well-rounded offerings for our Owls.

Early Childhood Education
Our community is in need of another quality care program for our youngest neighbors. Our new Early Childhood Education Center allows us to serve our community and concurrently build the TKS pipeline.
