All TKS parents are invited to attend the Annual Fund Kick-Off Party on Friday. Please be sure to RSVP so we can be prepared with enough food and beverages for all to enjoy. All you need for entry is your pledge card (we will have some at the door). If you have already pledged, your name will be on the list. Be advised that this event is for the adults only.

Go to the link to make your Annual Fund pledge ! The TKS Board is excited to announce our new campaign for the Annual Fund, "Building a Stronger Tomorrow!" The Annual Fund will look to achieve a multi-pronged mission: curriculum enhancement, student field experiences and faculty professional development.

Any families' names who pledge and PAY an amount of $1500-$2500 by October 14th, will be entered in a raffle for 20 free volunteer hours! Any families' names who just pledge an amount of $2500+ by October 14th, will be entered in a raffle for 40 free volunteer hours!

All who pledge and pay will receive a yard sign with our new Annual Fund logo!

Be Informed Parents...
Student Led Conferences will be October 28th. Please take time to read this article about why students should take the lead in parent/teacher conferences.

Pumpkin Book Festival Reminder
Don't forget about our annual Pumpkin Book Festival family project. Pick your favorite family book and decorate a small (pie size) pumpkin to look like one of the characters. Any craft items can be used to add to the pumpkin, but please do NOT puncture the pumpkin because it will rot quickly. This is an OPTIONAL project for families to do together at home. Decorated pumpkins (along with the book) will be due Monday, October 17th, for display in the library.

Book Character Parade
On Thursday, October 27th, we will have our 2nd Annual Book Character Parade. Students and teachers will be allowed to dress up like their favorite book character to walk the parade carrying the book in the morning at 8:15AM. Parents and families are welcome!
