Still Working on Getting to 100% Donations to Our Annual Fund
We're currently only at 54%. Congratulations to 4th Grade at 100%!

Please remember to make your gift online! We are still trying to reach our school-wide goal of 100% participation. You can make your gift online as either a scheduled contribution through FACTS or a one-time, immediate donation. Any amount is appreciated!

Jammies for Jubilee
Each grade level has a TKS Cares community service project, so our school can do our part giving back to local charities. The 3rd grade community outreach project is "Jammies for Jubilee." Jubilee Park & Community Center provides a free pajama store for neighbors to collect new pajamas as gifts for their children during the holidays.

If possible, please send new pajamas for boys and/or girls. Each class will have a bin outside the classroom for students to drop off pajamas. We will be collecting pajamas until December 11th.

Do Keto's risks outhweigh its rewards?
Thousands of people swear by the weight-loss benefits of a ketogenic (keto) diet, which is a high-fat, ultra-low-carbohydrate lifestyle that fools the body into a starvation state so it burns fat instead of sugar.

But diets must be sustainable to be effective, and there’s reason to believe that the keto diet’s long-term damage outweighs its short-term rewards. Learn more on keto’s risks from a registered dietitian at Methodist Dallas hospital.
