The Last Showcase of the Year - PreKI's Very Hungry Caterpillar
Announcements from Miss Jaggi, Head of School for the Day
- Excellent job on your Grade Level Showcase, PreKI Students!
- TKS will be closed on Monday in observance of Memorial Day!
- There are only 3.5 days of school left! We can do it, TKS Students and Teachers!!
All School Photo
On Wednesday, May 30th, the entire school will be taking a photo together outside. Please make sure your child wears the proper Wednesday uniform.
Field Day Attire
On Thursday, May 31st, all students will participate in Field Day. Early next week, each child will receive a Field Day t-shirt courtesy of the PTO to wear on Thursday. Some students will receive a green shirt (representing Team Oak Cliff) and some will receive a yellow shirt (representing Team Trinity). The two teams will be competing in various events throughout Field Day to determine the 2018 Field Day winner!
Students may wear athletic shorts and shoes with socks (NO sandals or flip-flops). Boys may wear swim trunks and girls may wear one piece swimsuits underneath their clothes. Please send a towel, an extra t-shirt and pair of shorts in a bag labeled with your child's name. It is predicted to be extremely hot that day, so please apply sunscreen and bug spray on your child before they arrive. We will have both on hand to reapply on students as needed.
Violin Concert
Mrs. Pearson's violin students put on a great performance for the school on Thursday!
Odysseys With Learning Play
The second and third grade Odysseys students wrote, produced and performed in an Egyptian play for their parents. It was quite an impressive show interpreting life during ancient Egyptian times.
Summer Work
Teachers highly encourage all students to continue to practice academic skills throughout the summer, especially reading. Students returning to TKS in the 2018-19 school year who complete and return the attached 600-Minute Summer Work Log during the first week of school, will be rewarded with a special lunch with Mrs. Ullmann.
