Announcing Our New PE Teacher

We are excited to welcome Angel Kossum to The Kessler School as our new Physical Education teacher. Angel brings a wealth of experience and a passion for sports and physical fitness to our community.

Angel Kossum's journey in education and coaching began after high school when she played college basketball for four years, earning a major in All Level Physical Education and a minor in Biology. During her fifth year in college, she coached a junior team at the school, further honing her skills and passion for coaching.

After graduation, Angel was offered a head girls' basketball coaching position at a 3A school, where she also served as an assistant track coach and taught freshman biology and health for three years. She then advanced to a 5A school as an assistant girls' basketball coach and head junior varsity coach. During her seven years there, she taught freshman biology, health, and a life skills class.

Angel's connection to The Kessler School runs deep. Her son, Xander Kossum, attended TKS as a Pre-K2 student and will be returning this school year as a Kindergartner. Angel is thrilled to join the TKS family and contribute to our mission of providing an UNLIMITED educational experience for all our students.
